New Bike Route

Back home from Sardinia, I felt revitalized by the sunshine, healthy diet, and time outdoors. Instead of diving back into my usual Berlin routine, I decided to keep a few habits from my refreshed lifestyle

With the flexibility to work anywhere in Berlin, I decided to extend my bike route from 5 to 15 minutes.

Inspired by Sardinia’s beautiful sunsets, I found a desk with one of the best views. The only catch was getting there early—a plus for me, as I love mornings.

Route
I start at home with a cup of coffee, enjoying the beautiful autumn colors from my window.

At the start of my route, I pass a few Plattenbauten. When I first moved to Berlin, I disliked them, but now I appreciate their unique charm and history—locals even call it Plattenbauromantik.
Museum Island

From there, I pass through Museum Island, bustling with tourists enjoying their time in Berlin and exploring the sights.

Tierpark

I pass through Tiergarten, one of my favorite spots on the route.

Alternatively, I could go through the Regierungsviertel, or Government District, where I also love the architecture.

Then I pass through another part of Mitte—called the same but a different district to me, with office buildings, the Brandenburg Gate, and grand architecture.

And so I arrive at my new office. I’m not sure I’ll stay forever, as I can move anytime, but for now, I enjoy it. This morning bike ride energizes me more than any coffee.
