Tokyo
In May 2023, we’ve said “auf Wiedersehen” to comfortable familiarity of Berlin, and embarked on a long distance journey to Japan. After an overnight layover in the brisk realm of Helsinki, and a 13-hour flight over North Pole, we finally touched down in Tokyo.
First Impressions
Navigating through boarding controls and customs queues, acquiring some local currency along the way we finally found ourselves on the train to the district of Roppongu, which was set to be our home for the five days.
Daily Walks
Each day we walked ~25k steps, starting with coffee and exploring something new: a park, paper shop, market, or district.
Every day we picked a different coffee place. Even Coffee is "quite new" to Japanese culture, with their IKIGAI attitude to perfection, they mastered it to the point.
