Lisboa
I am excited to share my first story as part on the Present Imperfect project. In late January, my colleague Gavin have left cloudy Berlin to get some tech inspiration at Laravel Conference in Lisboa.
The day before our scheduled arrival, we suddenly discovered that all flights on our departure day were cancelled. A little stunted that our plan might got to ashes, we quickly packed and caught the earliest flight to Milan before the strike began. After just 4 hours of rest, we left Milan at sunrise, continuing our journey to Lisbon.
We began each day with a cup of coffee, a juice and a Pastéis de Nata from our favourite bakery before heading to the conference. The distance to the conference was not far, allowing us to take a 50 min walk to the conference venue by the morning winter light.
Lisbon in winter light is quite picturesque.
